The primary responsibility of this position is the purchasing and control of raw materials in the support of Sales, Production and Inventory objectives. This person will assume responsibility for purchasing of critical raw materials, kitting requirements and packaging supplies.
Analyze, plan and issue purchase & job orders to meet forecasted demand plans, within a third party, subcontract supplier environment per approved forecast or purchase requisition. Make inventory purchases independently up to $10,000 spending limit.
An ability to adjust purchasing needs based on actual performance against forecast, current and/or past utilization trends.
Notify Sr. Supply Chain Planner of substantial inconsistencies observed between Approved Forecast and actual utilization.
Ensure orders are confirmed and on schedule from the supplier, expediting as necessary to prevent stock outages.
Setup suppliers and initial procurement for new product launches; create new parts and standard costs based on quotes, update and maintain boms.
Envelope pack production planning. Create job orders and labor plan.
Material control KPI’s
Ensure product inventory is balanced across multiple plants to meet customer demand, adjusting as necessary when production parts move between plants; check and approve invoices and update Finance via Purchase Order log.
Actively manage disposition of slow moving & obsolete inventories, managing RTV’s for both material non-conformances and routine supply returns and SMOS; RTV invoice reconciliation for Finance.
The purpose to this position is to support Operations in achieving labor efficiency and productivity goals. These goals will be met through the use of sound preventative maintenance procedures and schedules, low machine downtime achieved through spare parts availability, the use of proper tools and training to perform repairs in the field, and through the application of deliberate troubleshooting skills.
Modifies and assembles structures to enhance productivity, or safety.
Follows preventative maintenance procedures and provide training to machine operators.
Develops and mentors maintenance technicians and machine operators.
Works closely with manufacturer’s service providers to further understand complex machine operations.
Supports Rapid Improvement Workshops to optimize production processes and eliminate waste.
Supports the installation, development and startup of new processes in support of new product launches.
Ability to work in a high stress, highly dynamic environment.
Possess a sound knowledge of machine operation, setup, and machine safety
RPI’s Centralized Technology Group is seeking a sharp, experienced software developer to join our Dev Team. We’ve got plenty of hard software problems to solve and we need a talented and experienced developer to help us design creative solutions and provide technical leadership to the teams that will build those solutions.

Develop software in the .NET stack – C#, ASP.NET, Windows and web services

5+ years of experience as software developer with C#, Java, C++ or other OO language
2+ years of experience with C#, .Net framework, REST APIs
Practical knowledge of ASP.NET, SQL, Linq, XML, XSD, XSLT, ADO.NET
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
