Marketing Coordinator, part time 20 hours/week
How would you like to be on the leading edge of consumer trends in the photo merchandise space? With the popularity of digital photography, consumers are hungry for new physical products that allow them to customize and tell their personal stories. Our award-winning product design, innovative technology and just-in-time manufacturing makes us a leading producer of co-created consumer products like photo books, greeting cards and stationery products for blue chip and niche retailers like Costco, Tinyprints and MemoryLane to name just a few.

We’re located in a Pioneer Square studio where there’s a creative, collaborative and passionate group of employees working in a fast paced environment delivering results and unleashing creative expression!

RPI is looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator to manage various marketing projects and provide day-to-day operational support to the marketing team.  Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role is responsible for ensuring that our website, collateral and other communications accurately reflect our global brand.

The successful candidate is a creative self-starter capable of working with a high degree of independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain editorial calendar and publishing to multiple channels

  • Monitor social channels to track and respond to communications in a timely manner

  • Write and maintain content for the corporate website

  • Assist with writing, approvals and tracking of press releases

  • Produce quarterly newsletter and distribute to our email marketing list

  • Support sales teams with presentations, training tools and management of collateral library

  • Conduct lead scoring to evaluate lead quality and qualify opportunities

  • Work with customers to develop case studies, testimonials and references

  • Execute and analyze results of marketing campaigns

  • Implement project management system to track activities and provide regular status reports

  • Plan and organize events and showroom displays as requested by the Chief Product Officer

  • Provide administrative support, including expense reports, travel requisitions, budget tracking and managing office supplies




Qualifications:

  • Degree in marketing, journalism, communications or new media preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional marketing department

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines, ideally in a startup environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with international and senior level executives

  • Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills

  • Effective time management, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Capable of translating ideas and suggestions into workable projects and processes

  • Proficient in Word, Excel,  Powerpoint, Photoshop and InDesign

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation solutions is desirable

  • Ability to travel in between Seattle/Tukwila area offices at least 15% or as required

Marketing Analyst

RPI is looking for a Marketing Analyst to provide information and insights regarding customers, global markets, competitors, and campaign effectiveness.  Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will focus on developing, managing and executing operational processes and tasks in support of lead generation programs. The individual will also have tactical responsibilities for various marketing projects and will be expected to facilitate and build working relationships with internal support organizations, including IT, Finance and Operations.

The successful candidate will have experience planning and managing various marketing projects, and be able to work closely with senior management to interpret findings.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns and sales activities

  • Execute and streamline marketing workflows through automation, marketing operations management analysis and reporting

  • Build a marketing dashboard that visualizes key performance indicators and analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes

  • Work with marketing and global sales teams to develop key processes to increase lead flow to sales

  • Design research projects that answer specific business questions

  • Conduct market research to: analyze trends, competitors; determine brand perceptions; evaluate market penetration; understand customer needs and maintain our competitive advantages

  • Develop focus groups and surveys to capture market research data

  • Manage market segmentation, targeting, and positioning exercises with a focus on identifying new business

  • Integrate market research data with our CRM system to create new leads

  • Monitor and track competitive advertisements, PR, and website messaging

  • Support outbound email/mail strategy, planning and execution, including day to day execution of email and direct mail campaigns.

  • Oversee the process of list pulls for outbound email/direct mail campaigns, focusing on improving the process through automation providing more visibility to email/mailing lists.

  • Ensure marketing team needs are clearly scoped out and submitted to IT


 

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to innovate and systematically improve process through automation

  • Able to proactively streamline and automate workflow process and use analytics to measure program success

RPI is looking for a Director of Marketing to establish & implement strategic and tactical communications plans designed to capitalize on global market opportunities and generate demand.  Reporting to the marketing executive, this role is responsible for building a creative, integrated, multi-channel marketing program that builds global brand awareness and thought leadership, provides a steady flow of sales leads, and measures the return on marketing program investments.

The successful candidate is a hands-on and creative self-starter, resourceful, and has impeccable communication & leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive and aligned strategic global marketing plan.

  • Drive global brand identity, ensuring it is in line with our domestic and international objectives and the nature of the market.

  • Lead marketing and creative teams in the creation of integrated marketing initiatives to maximize brand identity across multiple channels

  • Execute integrated online/offline, search engine marketing, advertising, public relations, tradeshows and other campaigns to generate demand & sales leads.

  • Manage all messaging behind product launches, website, and internet marketing campaigns, etc… to ensure consistency in all marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Global brand management experience.

  • Proven experience using social media, PPC, SEO, interactive websites, YouTube, Blogs, and crowdsourcing.

  • Expert understanding of content marketing strategies, concepts and practices with proven results

  • Proven experience with new media and internet advertising, including measurement of online strategies, as well as the ability to generate and analyze user data.

  • Hands-on experience with international markets

  • Embraces change, continuous improvement and flexibility.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills--Able to compile and analyze performance data to develop metrics that support decision-making for resource allocation and subsequent campaigns

  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, desired

  • Effective time management, organization, and leadership skills
